thanks a lot for the constructive critique on my logos! I write on your profile since your rejected logos were for portfolio and not open for critiques.
Imperial selection: The gradient silver into background color may work on the presentation, but if your client received the logo and wants to place it on another color, it the logo color will not match the background anymore. Maybe remove the color in the gradient and create a silver gradient as well as a solid/grayscale version so it can be placed on every background color.
ItsBee: the idea is pretty god, but I read "ItsMee" first and thought "Why is the M drowning?" and it looks a little as if it is screaming for help ;) Possibly clarify the letter B a little more.
I hope I could help you with that.
I like the overall appearance of it. One thing that worries me is that the lines of the umbrella arm may be bleeding into one another if printed in a small size. It could help reducing the stroke thickness a little as well as increasing the space between them.
As for the type: maybe try a rounder sans serif font to match the illustration, pull the left side of the "U" a little higher and try to place the text where it would have been if you typed the "U" out and placed it over the manually drawn one. Then both components could work better together. I hope that helped :)
I like the logo as well. Maybe open the leaf where the horizontal "R" stroke ends so there is a better connection to the rest of the name? I hope you understand what I am trying to say :)
Good luck with this one!
Thank you for your comment!
You mean like in the one-color/stamp version?
I considered it as well, but I think the red "wine filling" adds a nice colorful touch and makes clear where the red ink color comes from.
