In the designer's words:
A SEXY BRAND, in every respect.
I was inspired by the concept of flowering, since —although many people think that Virginia means "virgin" or "maiden"— the name derives from the Latin root "ver", which actually means "spring". So I came up with this flourishing icon.
The letter Y is highlighted since it positions the name Virginya as a cooler, trendier, maybe younger version of Virginia.
As a plus, you will see a letter V in the negative space of the icon, between the "leaves" and the "blossom".
I envision this brand could be suitable for cosmetics companies, jeweler's shops, wineries, tobacco industry, clothes brands, design bag manufacturers, lingerie stores, hotels and more.
Since it also conveys the idea of crown, Virginya is perfect for any company that wants to create an impression of royalty, elegance, high society, and so on.
