First, in the negative space there is an 石 (Chinese, AND Japanese for “stone” or “rock”). I did a lil’ movin’ around of the lines so that I can make that “1″ taking up the right side of the logo, representing the emphasis of “one” the campaign has going. That “1″ also looks like a house, representing shelter, which is what the Living Stones team is providing for the orphaned children in China. Each little shape in the positive space looks like flag stone, playing on the name “Living STONES Village”, and that is also why I made the logo green, to represent life.
