Reading Time: 7 minutes

Starting a new coffee shop? You may have already found a cool place and created an appetizing menu. But don’t forget your logo! A great coffee-inspired logo, like a cappuccino logo, is needed to catch your customer’s eye and stand out in a crowded market.

That’s why in this article, we’ll be sharing some tips on how to craft a stunning cappuccino logo. We’ve also compiled a list of bold and energizing logo ideas you can customize through our logo maker tool or create through our AI logo generator

Let’s get started!

Tips For Creating Cappuccino Logos

Before we get into the design process, let’s first define what a cappuccino is.

A cappuccino is a classic and popular coffee drink that is made with ⅓ espresso, ⅓ steamed milk, and ⅓ milk foam. A cappuccino usually gets confused with a latte due to their similar looks. But you can easily see the difference as a cappuccino is layered in three distinct parts and has a bigger dollop of froth on top compared to a latte. A cappuccino also tends to have a sprinkling of chocolate powder or cinnamon on top.

To create a great logo, it’s important to focus on the details that make a cappuccino as well as the emotions associated with coffee — warmth, aroma, and comfort.

Some elements you can incorporate are:

1. Steam and froth

Since cappuccinos are recognizable due to their steamed milk or milk froth, adding those elements to your logo is a great idea. You can also incorporate some hazy steam or light wisps of smoke to indicate freshly brewed coffee.

2. Coffee beans or coffee cups

Coffee beans and espresso are other vital ingredients to a cappuccino so we also recommend using them as your logo’s main visual element. You can also use a double-walled glass that clearly shows the cappuccino layers. Or go for a classic coffee mug or a demitasse to directly convey to your customers that you are serving coffee.

3. Warm colors

Opt for a warm and homey color palette that mimics a cappuccino such as creamy whites, earthy browns, or deep caramel tones. You can pair these with colors such as warm orange or yellow to give off a brighter look. You can use white or black as background colors for a minimalist or vintage feel.

4. Other coffee elements

Of course, go for a general coffee-inspired logo instead of focusing on just cappuccino. If so, you can use other coffee elements in your design. This could be a coffee grinder, espresso tamper, frothing glass, plastic coffee cups, or a coffee carafe. You can also go for other types of coffee, such as latte, espresso, macchiato, or frappes.
