Facebook rebrand and Meta Logo
Mark Zuckerberg has announced that his company, Facebook, has been renamed ‘Meta’ in the recent rebrand. The update aims to bring the company’s apps and technologies under one new company brand that better reflects the current and future plans of the business.
Zuckerberg describes his future vision as a ‘metaverse’ – an online world where people can game, work and communicate in a virtual environment – hence ‘Meta’.
So far, the rebrand has drawn worldwide scrutiny, even leading to claims of plagiarism of the Australian Broadcasting Corporations similarly infinity-shaped logo.
With all the hullabaloo, we thought it would be fun to challenge our army of designers from BrandCrowd and DesignCrowd to come up with an eye-catching and original logo that better reflects the Zuck’s vision for the company’s future.
